Give up? Grandparents. They come in all shapes and sizes. Some are happy, some grumpy, but their love remains the same.

It’s a shame Nanny Edna’s daughter doesn’t share in the idea of a tight-knit family. After an accidental kitchen fire, Nanny Edna is forced to move into the godawful Oasis Grove, a retirement home that makes prisons seem like paradise. And if being deserted by loved ones wasn’t bad enough, these guards (I mean carers) are hell-bent on making her life miserable.

Mistreated but not defeated, she rallies a group of golden oldies to go out and live their dreams. Her intelligence, craftiness and all-around spirit transform her community in more ways than one. Be ready for daring heists, escape missions and a high-octane police chase. Don’t think that because they’re ancient, mischief won’t occur.
